Hotmail Password Bug – De-Bugged!

A serious bug in its Hotmail webmail has forced Microsoft to move swiftly.

The nasty bug allowed hackers to ‘reset’ Hotmail passwords thus locking-out the account holders &, even worse, allowing access to their inboxes.

Computer Security Monitors discovered the bug in April and warned Microsoft…

Utilising the online Firefox ‘add-on tools’, hackers found a back-entry way to tinker with the data moving between users & Hotmail servers.

However, the opportunity went viral & was abused by many hackers.

Indeed, reports showed that hackers were offering their services to crack open Hotmail accounts for just £10.

Remember - keep your passwords safe; keep them difficult to break and if possible change them periodically too.
